Here are the good friends just after the movie ended. T & A told me one day last week that these are their future spouses. One of the Jones is not pictured, because he had already fallen asleep during the show.
Yesterday the kids and I did a whole bunch of yard work. They kept looking for leaves to rake while I mowed the lawns. It was so funny. They ended up jumping in a pile of leaves about the size of a basketball (that is about all the leaves they could find), but they had fun. I then spent most of the day tearing apart one of the back doors on the car to fix a broken window motor and regulator (the window would not even stay up). I ended up having to stop, however, because no one in town had the part. I am getting it tomorrow though. As I was tearing apart the door to fix everything T & A decided that they wanted to use my tools too. T actually took all the screws out of his bubble-blowing lawn mower and then when they started use my open-ended wrenches on their bikes, I put a halt to it. They both love my tools (T in particular) and they love to see how things work. I was having a lot more fun watching them, than working on my own project. In the night the Jones invited us over to have a movie night with them. We had popcorn, brownies, and drinks, and watched The Bee Movie. T & A had so much fun playing and spending time with them. We haven't played with them forever and it was nice for our families to hang out again, like we used to back in the day. We all had a great time it is something we will have to do more often.
