Tonight we were able to go to my nephew's baptism. He really surprised me by asking me to say the opening prayer. I was really touched that he thought that much of me to ask me. His baptismal service was great, with wonderful music and talks. One of the highlights of the evening was seeing him, pretending to be a rock singer on top of one of those plastic cars, when we went back to their house for dinner. The kids were really excited to see their cousin get baptized and cannot wait for their day to come. We are really proud of the decision he has made and what a great example he has always been to them. Being able to see a couple of recent baptisms has been especially great for the kids. It is such a neat thing to watch the Gospel take root in their little hearts.the first FIVE years

A Baptism
